Weekly 'Drop In' Group Classes
The 'Shoshin' Meditations:
Shoshin is Japanese for 'beginners mind'.
This class is designed for beginners and experienced meditators who have 'beginners mind' (which we should all have, whether we have 1 day or 100 years of experience).
Each week brings different insights.
The 'Seishi' Meditations:
Seishi is Japanese for 'stillness'.
This meditation offers less instruction and more silent meditation time than our Shoshin class, allowing for deeper stillness, time for answers to arise and, ideally, spiritual awakening.
Although this class is open to everyone, if you are new to meditation, I would encourage you to participate in the 'Shoshin' (beginners mind) meditations
*Once in a while we will explore a meditation technique like chanting/drumming, candle gazing, self-hypnosis or guided visualitation.

Living Mindfully: A Discussion & Support Group
In our formal practice of Mindfulness Meditation, we practice being present, seeing
things as they are, allowing whatever arises without resisting or embracing it.
We practice awareness without judgment or attachment.
OK. Now what?
This group helps us to transition into a dynamic practice: Living in Mindful Awareness.
That's really the point of the practice, after all. Until we put these elements of meditation
into relationship, they are simply a concept.
We must live mindfully in order to experience life more fully, to manage lifes challenges with
ease and to be happier.
We offer a loving, non-judgmental, supportive environment that supports both our formal and dynamic mindfulness practice.
